Founder

Happy to Help Home Care is a nurse-owned, nurse-operated local in-home care agency in Arizona. The founder Shantell Washington, RN, holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and has worked various roles as a caregiver and nurse. She started her career in the medical field over 15 years ago when she worked as an in-home caregiver for a local family. Since then she has worked in group homes, nursing homes, various doctor offices, home health care, and in the emergency department for her last 6 years of her bedside nursing career. Shantell has always had a passion and desire to help the elderly and disabled populations from a very young age. That desire grew even more when she had the opportunity to move in and help her grandmother when she came home from the hospital after having surgery to remove her cancerous breast.

Happy to Help Home Care was founded on the scripture; “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves,” Philippians 2:3-4. Shantell and her staff believe in being humble and selfless as they care for others. Happy to Help Home Care is committed to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities to thrive and live safely in their home while building lasting relationships.
